My Space Vs. Facebook
Facebook has now exceeded Myspace's popularity. What makes facebook the first choice for social networking? How are the two sites different? Let me know!
Myspace is based more towards middle schoolers and the younger generation; but there are multiple bands who are also located on it. Facebook was originally created for College kids and older, but then they lowered the level of age. So you can find the same age groups on Facebook as MySpace, but Facebook is better because there are less hackers, it is less annoying when the songs come on and start playing, more protected, and it has no background designs that give you headaches. So that is my opinion on the differences of Facebook and MySpace. Facebook wins, hands down.
Facebook is geared towards college/highschool students. Whereas myspace is mainly for highschoolers/middle schoolers, and you can personalize it more (music, backgrounds, pics, etc.) Myspace is also more "dangerous" because millions of people use it everyday, & some people put their profiles as "public" & put personal information down. I personally have myspace. But I don't like it and I am never on it. I would get facebook but I don't really need it right now so I can wait a little bit. Myspace is kind of lame and takes forever to learn how to do things and they have those obnoxious backgrounds that everyone hates. and all the extra things they add on their profiles. The music is okay though. I'm pretty sure I'm gunna go get facebook now.
I guess I have both a myspace and a facebook. I just never use my myspace anymore. I like facebook more because I have more friends on it, i guess. There isn't really a reason, actually. I just do.
Myspace may have the cutomization for your pages and more freedom, but with Facebook you get less ads, hacks, and creepy guys. Facebook is more for people our age up to college age and with all the apps and free services, it makes it easy to talk to your friends. I personally have both a myspace and a facebook, but I'd say facebook is the better of the two.
It seems like when i was in middle school that myspace was a very big thing and then moving on to highschool it seemed that facebook was the new thing. it also is a lot nicer of a site than myspace. Colin P.
Myspace is more for younger kids like middle schoolers. Facebook is way less crazy and easier to use in my opinion. I only have a facebook but i still never go on it. Facebook is safer too, so that's probably why facebook had exceeded myspace for popularity.
I have myspace and facebook. Personally i like myspace better because i have had it longer and i know how to work it. With facebook i have only had it for a while and i dont really understand it. I also love that myspace lets u pick what ever backround you want with facebook you dont get as much to choose from

Alright so 1: I dont have a face book 2: I once had a my space but it was to confusing so i nver used it 3: I think people need to learn to be more social instead of using a fake thing like Facebook or my space. Its all fake i mean seriously the most none social person in the world can be a freaken CASANOVA online you know? its not REAL but people are getting addicted to it because they can say whatever they want. Thats why i prefer calling people and actually talking to them texting im really not a fan of but sometimes its all you got. thats my 2 cents worth its been real PEACE OUT :)

I don't really know what makes them different because I don't use either of them. I do know that lots of bands use Myspace though.
